| Power system analysis
is a technique by which a multitude of power measurements are analysed and recorded
to identify any type of disturbance which a supply could be subjected to. Our
most up to date hand held equipment is able to detect common problems in distribution
network systems, these fault can be derived from: - · Measuring harmonic
distortion on voltage and current waveforms on all types of equipment · Measuring
efficiency of motor control centres · Verifying anticipated energy savings
of lighting retrofits · Measuring power factor, determining is a system is
capacitive or inductive · Diagnosing power related equipment performance
problems · Diagnosing false tripping of breakers · Detecting, recording
and analysis transient effects on critical loads and more.. Our system
is not restricted only to single phase supplies and equipment, it has the capability
to analyse 3 phase systems, this in turn omits very little from spectrum. Other
information which consumers desires are frequency, VAR, VA, Volt(true RMS). AMPS
(true RMS), current crest factor. All of which and more are available at the simple
touch of a button. Since our equipment is portable it is possible to analyse
and record a supply system for several weeks, this would involve for example opening
a panel, connecting the equipment and then leaving to monitor for a period of
time and since the equipment is made from insulating material, this would not
effect the circuits or cause any disturbance. Upon completion of the survey
our Engineer will provide the client with a detailed report highlighting all area's
where disturbances have occurred within the disturbance network, along with this
report you will receive our recommendations and if required our Engineering Division
have the expertise and capability to carry out all remedial work, thus ensuring
maximum efficiency in all equipment and supply frequencies. Further
